Jeff Su is a Googler-turned-Educator and a YouTuber, equipping professionals with practical skills at scale.
Sounds complicated?
We’ll make it super easy: What motivates Jeff is PRACTICALLITY.
That’s it!!! If he didn’t offer any practical use tips or points of view around a topic, tool, trend, or feature, we simply wouldn’t talk about it. :)
What Makes Jeff Spotlight-Worthy?
Bottom line: We love to support people who have or had a day job. We see that as the foundation needed for growth, understanding, and experience before you go out and give tips to anyone else.
So, we love that Jeff has a very solid background that supports his unique point of view-and this is one of the things that makes us love him so much. We’ll dig deeper into why a bit later in this spotlight.
We also love Jeff for his deep voice, his engaging dialogue, and yes, he looks relaxed in front of a camera-but the best thing about Jeff is that his AI practical use cases and tips don’t have just one side to them.
If Jeff finds a practical tip that supports a productive use case that can improve your productivity at home (yes, there’s such a thing), it’s just as important to him to share it as it is to share something work-related.
So, he looks at AI and how to use it best.
Who Benefits from Jeff’s Content?
Using Jeff’s words: “College students, working professionals, or super ambitious high schoolers, make sure to subscribe to my channel.”
We have no idea why he’s limiting himself. For us, everyone who uses AI can benefit from hearing what Jeff has to say.
A Bit About His Background
Jeff was a product marketer at Google for 8 years. As the App Developer Marketing Lead for Greater China (GRCN), he managed a team of 5 to drive App Campaign revenue for Google Ads-a product designed for developers.
To that, we say: Yeah, yeah, yeah-bottom line, when you're a product marketer, your job is to make the customer understand the need the product is addressing. And he nailed that for Google-meaning a technology mega-house, so yeah, he’s good at what he does. Seems obvious. :)
If there’s an AI need, with his product marketing skills, he will make you get it.
Before that, he was a consultant at EY & KPMG, which we believe gave him a lot of knowledge in process, real-life working environments, and client experience.

Frozen Light Perspective
Jeff is flowing, creative, and good in front of a camera, on top of bringing great tips.
His mission is to make everyone productive and, as much as we love the message, we believe that some of his tips are too focused on being productive sometimes at the cost of quality and perfection.
We know, by the end of the day, the viewer (meaning you) should be the judge of the quality of the work you should produce, but we believe that if you’re the one giving the tips, at least you should say there’s a compromise so viewers will know.
But his speed, decisiveness, and conviction can sometimes make his recommendations feel like the final answer, without leaving room for alternative approaches.
We say there is … so keep it mind.
So, we love him, and we believe he’s a must-follow for on-point, simple tips and information that are easy to follow, understand, and use to succeed.
As we always say, know that he is representing his own views, and as charming and good in front of a camera as he is, you are the only one who knows what will truly work for you.
Here, we’ll say-remember, his focus is productivity, and sometimes ask yourself should I compromise my results for productivity.
