As someone who works in content and loves testing new tools, I had to try NotebookLM the second it got out in 50 languages.

  • For personal use? I love it.
Listening to summaries in Hebrew while walking or cooking? Game-changing.
It’s accessible, fast, and surprisingly human-sounding (most of the time).

  • But as a product for creators or podcasters? Not quite there yet.
I've seen marketers experimenting with it – and while it's exciting, in Hebrew it still sounds… off.
There are language glitches. The flow sometimes shifts.
You can’t rely on it to carry your voice or message without supervision.

That doesn’t mean it’s not impressive – it is.
And like every AI tool I’ve tested early on, I’m sure it’ll get better fast.

But right now? It’s more of a smart assistant than a studio replacement.

My verdict about NotebookLM

  • Use it for yourself. It’s a great way to absorb info hands-free.

  • Be cautious using it professionally. Review everything. Listen back.

  • And if you’re handing it off to a client or audience – make sure it still sounds like you.

Bottom line: We’re getting there. And I’m here for it (waiting patiently)...
